I am a bookbinder, printmaker, and film critic currently focused on producing lovely, simple notebooks and printed images in a home bindery without elaborate or extensive equipment. I believe exceptional results can be achieved by using basic techniques, precise methods, and quality materials.
I want to create books that are functional, affordable, and a pleasure to use, and to illustrate that making pictures can be uncomplicated. I'm attracted to the idea that my notebooks constitute a collaboration with their user, eventually becoming a special keepsake or a beautified repository for others' creativity and ideas.
Upcoming projects will feature small editions of original essays on visual art and literature, all of which will be hand-printed and hand-bound.
